Sex and Death 101 (2007)
Director: Daniel Waters
Movie review
From Time Out New York
A narcissistic lothario (Baker) breaks off his engagement after an oracular machine e-mails him a list of the 29 women he’s ever boffed—plus 72 more in his future. But whose name is last? Only the woman better known as Death Nell (Ryder), a serial killer devoted to offing chauvinist pigs. Sloppy execution and too-cheeky dialogue capsize an outdated modern myth about confronting fate amid feminist saber rattling and sexist prejudices. All that’s missing is Burt Reynolds, Jane Fonda and a release date circa 1975.Author: Stephen Garrett
