Movie review
From Time Out New York
An infected covert-ops soldier finds himself dying in a strip club, where he bites the main attraction, Kat (Jameson, stiff to begin with). The show must go on, and soon enough, men can’t resist Kat’s flesh-eating spectacle. Press notes declare this flick to be based on Eugène Ionesco’s Rhinoceros, but like most of the schlocky dialogue itself, that’s just a gag. Actually, the film feels more like unusually well-funded softcore (complete with boring tedium) than sexed-up horror, though its splatter effects are enjoyably cartoonish. As such, it’s not that bad.Author: Joshua Rothkopf
