Young People Fucking (2007)
Director: Martin Gero
Movie review
From Time Out New York
Its story structure more befitting Alfred Kinsey than Syd Field, this rigidly schematic horndog rom-com maps out fives groups of sexual coupling (four duos and one trio), all broken into six stages of erotic ecstasy. The jarring skips required for clockwork peeks into each sexual narrative turn all the participants into reductive character sketches, spouting pithy one-liners and sporting ready-to-wear emotions on their sleeves. Want to watch bad sex? Check out this case of cinematic coitus interruptus.Author: Stephen Garrett
