From Time Out New York

Meet cute? More like fuck angry. Rom-coms don’t get more toxic than this depressing stew of cock jokes, pussy insults and cesspool declarations of love. Self-loathing lothario Tank (Cook) is hired by broken-hearted weenies to wreak emotional terrorism on their exes and drive the unhappy couples back together again. When his closest friend (Biggs) becomes a client, Tank finds himself falling for the target (Hudson). Oddly enough, the asshole gets the girl. And the nice guy? Fuck him—he’s a pussy.

Posted on Dec 15 2008 09:02 I have reported this review and thread as inapropriate, only to have others continue to abuse this space. Some even using my name to post. Time Out really should be doing something about this, how long will they let such language to continue where children read?

Posted on Dec 08 2008 14:55 This is damn right innapropriate. The right up is a disgrace. The film looks good and this should be reported. "fuck pussy" isnt something people want to see on the internet every day. I have a 8 year old child, and if i knew he was repeating this kind of language while checking what time "High School Musical" was on at the pictures, i would be disgraced. Someone please do something about it!

Posted on Dec 03 2008 17:23 Robert, any you assume I am male?
I think we have met. You were crying when your wife left, and you couldn't handle not feeling like a real man.
I see you have resorted to ridiculous comments on the internet now?
    Good for you!

Posted on Dec 03 2008 16:12 Firstly, someone has been posting threads with my name on them - come on, get an identity and have the courage to write in your own name at least.
Stephen, if that's your response to criticism, I pity you. You sexuality? Who cares? Does that mean that you loose as moral value? If I were writing in an adut magazine then such language would be appropriate, but this isn't. If you can't see that you really are lacking IQ.
Anyway, I'm glad to see the comments here at least got your attention and you felt disturbed enough by them to write yet more childish comments, showing not an ounce of wit, and confirming the points made about your writing by others.

Posted on Dec 03 2008 13:32 Now now, come on children.... (don't take that comment literally, thats were Glitter went wrong) please don't use the swears on here to describe stuff.
As an architect and a civil engineering consultant I know, not to swear. And when I'm driving through London in my Mercedes, i still don't swear. And even if my butler doesn't clean out the stables properly I still don't swear. You people are so smug and swear happy, it makes me sick to my balls.
    Happy Holidays

Posted on Nov 30 2008 13:49 I am a twentysomething with an occasional foul mouth and an I'm not one to cringe when I hear bad language. Although I do have a conscience and know when it is unacceptable, I am also articulate enough to think of other words which can replace swear words. When I read this review though, it told me nothing about the film. I then realised that my young nephews or nieces could be reading this, and think that if its ok to use in this context, then it's ok for them to use. If that is the intelligence level of the film critic he should look for a career change!
