Movie review

From Time Out London

This Bollywood sex comedy sequel is predictably loud, crude and offensive. Gopal’s (Devgan) overly suspicious wife Ekta (Kapoor) is convinced that he is having an affair when he fails to return home one night. He tells her he was with his fictitious friend Anthony. Complications ensue when a fake and the real Anthony turn up. There’s also a finger-chopping psycho killer on the loose…The juvenile humour raises the odd chuckle like when the ‘straight’ lead men are mistaken for being gay lovers when it’s obvious that they are as camp as Diwali fairy lights. With song lyrics like ‘Hunky Chunky Monkey’ and dialogue which rhymes the Hindi ‘shuck’ (distrust) with fuck, this is kitsch bolly-humour aimed solely for brainless fans.
