From Time Out New York
At the start of this World War II period piece, Lt. Mike Clarke (Keegan) makes an ill-advised bet with the nephew of Al Capone that he can become an ace fighter pilot (five confirmed kills) by the end of the war. The chances of Clarke winning, though, grow remote after he crashes his plane in neutral, rural Ireland, alongside his copilot, Twickers (O’Conor). Let’s just say that it will take many Guinnesses to get over the stilted awfulness of this nonsensical ode to the Emerald Isle. Many Guinnesses.Author: Drew Toal
