Movie review

From Time Out New York

Virtually plotless (even the last film’s deadbeat-dad drama is shorn), this sequel to 2006’s half-billion-dollar grosser might as well be called More Ancient Stuff Flies Toward Your Face. Among the few noncomputerized elements, Amy Adams distracts mightily in skintight, flesh-colored aviatrix pants as Amelia Earhart, an unearned, moxie-oozing romantic partner to Ben Stiller’s former museum guard, trapped in the D.C. complex after dark. When the movie slows to take in the actual splendor of the Smithsonian (rarely), it’s hard to complain too mightily. Whatever gets the kids in the door, right?

Posted on Jun 07 2009 11:06 Ok, so Jay don't you think that you're being a little pathetic? After all this is a film review not an English lesson!!! Obviously you have nothing better to do than criticise other people for their mistakes. But then to be fair who cares about it as long as it makes sense which it does then it doesn't mattter. I think you may need to get a life, I think that the film is excellent! im just trying to be careful about my grammar and spelling I'm not sure I'd like a 'plonker' telling me I'm wrong!!!!

Posted on Jun 03 2009 19:51 So have you seen the film Jay or not?
I think you'll find that in Josh's comments, he's not actually speaking the English language at all, he's typing it! Furthermore; there may be Plonkers out there who do not utilise English grammar correctly. However, I doubt they will be able to LISTEN and learn from your comments as it is only feasible to read correspondence, not listen to it you Dingbat!!! Sorry for the lack of rating, I've not seen the film yet. I just got irate, subsequent to Jay's pompous comments ;-)

Posted on May 20 2009 23:29 Saw this film today...
Was really funny, lots of witty dialogue as opposed to slapstick humour etc, but there was still some of that too!
Excellent story, better than I thought it would be and much better than the first.
You dont really need to of seen the first one to see this one, but it does help.
Not too long and possibly more entertaining for adults/young adults due to the wordplay/knowledge required for basic history references
