Le Garcu (1995)
Director: Maurice Pialat
Movie review
From Short Review - NY
After a career spent observing the tribulations of youth, Pialat delivers a final movie called "the kid." He follows three: an immature adulterer (Gérard Depardieu) about to leave his wife, his four-year-old son and his weakening father. Not the summation work many had hoped for, this nonetheless expresses Pialat's gentle sensibility with unforced ease.Author:
