From Time Out Online

Miranda Richardson narrates the tale, following the amazing story of a baby loggerhead turtle from her birth on a beach in Florida to her return to the very same beach to lay her own eggs 25 years later. When the turtles break out of the sand and struggle towards the sea, assailed by crabs, we’re witnessing just the first in a series of natural and man-made challenges they must overcome. Beautiful cinematography is a given. We wondered how they created the footage – I guess it’s lucky turtles all look pretty alike to us humans, though their mums might think differently. As the nine year old observed, ‘So the turtle never meets its mum and dad, then?’

Posted on Dec 03 2009 15:27 The education provided in this wonderful film is top notch. Humans can identify with, and watch "land" animals and relate somewhat. The sea animals are another story - and the writer, director, crew and "CAST" did an amazing job of pulling us under the sea to get a grasp of their lives and challenges. Not only was this a "story", it was a factual insight into the lives of these endangered sea reptiles. Please continue sharing it as far and wide as you can - the world will recognize the beauty and the struggles of the sea turtles worldwide.
