Synopsis

Filmed back-to-back with ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey’, the ‘The Lord of the Rings’ prequel will again star Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins, Elijah Wood as Frodo Baggins, Andy Serkis as Gollum and Ian McKellen as Gandalf. Expect Freeman and Serkis to take centre stage as Bilbo gets his hands on Gollum’s precious ring. Peter Jackson directs.
