Movie review

From Time Out Online

Borrowing the subject matter and even some of the stars of 2008 doc ‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Hero’, this likeable HBO special follows the lives and exploits of America’s real-life masked vigilantes. From tragic van-dwelling loners like one-man Justice League Mr Xtreme, through loveable lunatics like the infamous Master Legend to the desperately self-serious veggie-hipster likes of the New York Initiative, the film simultaneously celebrates, lampoons and worries for its lycra-clad subjects. Fun, but a little throwaway.
