Outside Bet (2011)
Director: Sacha Bennett
Synopsis
Sacha Bennett, the director of 2010’s ‘Bonded By Blood’, returns with this new film set in the 1980s, the decade of greed, money, privatisation, unions and dramatic media evolution. The film stars Bob Hoskins and Jenny Agutter, and it concerns a group of friends who decided to put a big stash of money on a racehorse when they’ve been left in fix after a bad redundancy pay out.

Are you all on crack? It's complette rubbish!
Badly written, badly shot, unfunny and unemotional nonsense and the lead Calum McNab is unquestionably the worst performance I've seen in a long time.
1 star and that's only because I didn't have to pay to see it. - Report as inappropriate

- Posted on Apr 26 2012 22:14 British: funny and warm. Will make you laugh and cry with relief at the familiarity of the genre if nothing else. Nice observations of 1982 Wapping - great acting. Definitely go and see it.
