Synopsis
Mark Strong and James McAvoy play cat and mouse games in this British thriller written and directed by the talented Eran Creevy, who impressed with his debut, drug-drama ‘Shifty’. ‘Welcome to the Punch’ casts Strong as a criminal (natch) who comes out of hiding in order to help out his son. McAvoy is the London detective keen to track him down, but who ends up forming an alliance with him when a conspiracy emerges. Andrea Riseborough completes the impressive central cast while David Morrissey and Peter Mullan also put in appearances.
