Polat Renaissance Istanbul Hotel review Rate it
Our airport hotel of choice, the Polat Renaissance is a five-minute taxi ride from the terminal in the coastal suburb of Yeşilköy (it's 18 kilometres, or 12 miles, from the city centre). A 27-storey blue glass skyscraper by the sea, the ultra-modern interior features a soaring central atrium.
At least half of the 414 rooms have views over the Marmara. All the rooms were renovated in 2010 and are now equipped with LCD TVs, broadband internet access and coffee machines. All the facilities you would expect of a Marriott hotel, including a large heated outdoor pool.
