Few people other than those doing business up in nearby Levent and Maslak choose to stay in Ortaköy, but if scurrying around the mosques isn't on your agenda, this rather bland option is worth considering.
A modern hotel with 90 generously sized rooms, its most appealing feature is probably its proximity to the waterfront bars, cafés and fish restaurants. You can avoid the traffic that clogs Istanbul's roads by catching a ferry down the Bosphorus to the sights in Sultanahmet.
