Istanbul is not exactly brimming with Indian restaurants, and this little gem in the heart of Sultanahmet might be the closest that you'll get to eating authentic dishes from the subcontinent.
There's a wide variety of curries, thalis and dishes from the tandoor, plus Indian bevvies like salty or sweet lassi. All the bread is baked in house daily. There's a set menu at YTL36. The roof terrace - up seemingly endless flights of stairs - is worth the climb.
