Popular with locals, this unusual eaterie buried in the backstreets near Taksim Square offers Anatolian eating at its best. Set on six floors, the place feels like a showcase for rural artefacts. Most of the seating - either in private dining rooms or cosy communal spaces - is traditional Anatolian style, with low tables surrounded by kilims and cushions on the floor.
Authentic eastern Turkish specialities include çiĸköfte (a la turca steak tartare made with cracked wheat and chili), mantı (ravioli with yoghurt sauce), pide or lahmacun (Turkish-style pizzas), plus a range of kebabs. Narghiles (waterpipes) are available. No alcohol.
Open 10am-midnight Mon-Thur, Sun; 10am-1am Fri, Sat
