Meyra (formerly Leyla) is a popular café that is unpretentiously cool. The retro designer furniture, chalkboard specials and airy interior with large windows opening on to street tables make it the perfect location for whiling away an afternoon.
Menu highlights include all-day themed breakfasts, with geographical themes running from Istanbul to Oslo, Madrid and London. The English breakfast is a generous plate of bacon and eggs, with orange juice, tea and a selection of rolls. Salads, burgers and meat dishes are also available.
There's wine by the glass and Efes beer is on tap. The bar is open late.
