A modest, single-room venue just off Tünel Square, Badehane began as an eaterie, but quickly evolved into one of the most popular bars in town. On Wednesdays, live gypsy music (including local legend Selim Sesler) gets the crowd dancing around the tiny, packed tables.

There is also live music on Tuesdays and at weekends -see in-house posters for details. In summer, the café spills out on to the street, where backgammon tournaments take place, and friends meet for large beers and a smoke.
