Turkey's oldest department store started life as a humble shop behind the Spice Bazaar in 1950. Today, it's the closest thing Istanbul has to a real department store. Unlike its more exclusive rivals, it caters to a broad market, selling everything from unisex clothing to sports gear, toys, home accessories and electronics.
