Atatürk Cultural Centre (AKM) review Rate it

Istanbul's premier performing arts venue. Behind the brutalist 1960s design, the interior is surprisingly grand and vibrant. It has two main concert halls, with a capacity of 1,300 and 520. Ticket prices are kept low through state subsidies. The venue is currently under renovation, scheduled to reopen in 2011.
