In a small alleyway by Şah Bar, just off Incili Çavuş Sokak, Djazzu's attractive pavement seating area and inside tables beat its considerable competition in the design stakes.
The menu is also a gear above the usual Turkish cuisine of the area, with a fusion, Mediterranean-influenced menu cooked by a Japanese chef. The marinated maguro (tuna) is excellent. There's a good selection of Turkish wines too, but we felt service could do with smartening up on a recent visit.
