Arap Mosque review Rate it

Built between 1323 and 1337, and dedicated to St Dominic and St Paul, this was the largest of Constantinople's Latin churches. In the early 16th century, it was converted into a mosque to serve the Moorish exiles from Spain, which is possibly how it got its current name, the 'Arab mosque'. Despite extensive alterations, the design is clearly that of a typical medieval church, complete with apses and a belfry.
