Hotel les Ottomans review Rate it
Opened in spring 2006, this all-suite hotel is designed to lure celebrities, heads of state and millionaires bored of the Çiraĸan Palace. In an impeccably restored white wooden yalı (mansion), with spectacular views of the Boĸazici Strait, the style is Oriental opulence - to excess, some might say. Think brocade drapes, Arabic-script inscriptions and giant chandeliers.
With just 12 suites, the emphasis is on exclusivity. Butler, yacht and limousine service are all part of the package. The Passionate Suite is, of course, billed as the perfect honeymoon destination - with feng shui to 'add a completely new freshness and purity to your life as a couple'. There's an intimate Ottoman restaurant with an impressive cellar and a fabulous Caudalie spa.
