Far and away Istanbul's finest live music venue, this modestly sized brick vault with a mezzanine is located in the backstreets near Tünel. There's a lot of jazz, but Babylon is also the place for world music, electronica and anything avant-garde. The management, which also runs the Doublemoon record label and the city's best music festivals, consistently attracts the best local and international names.
