The new home of 'pop-rock' in Istanbul, Balans started out a couple of years ago with huge ambitions and attracted huge international bands to its well-appointed stage. It's still a smart venue that occasionally pulls in global guests, but today you're more likely to find local stars like pop rocker Teoman and Eurovision Song Contest winner Sertab Erener.
