Rumeli review

Rumeli's food is far superior to the tourist fodder served at the the cluster of establishments at the bottom of Divan Yolu. A former printworks with a cavernous interior of exposed brick, stone and stained floorboards, it spans several floors from the cobbled side-street up to the roof terrace. Traditional Ottoman dishes are given a Mediterranean twist, along with excellent salads, pasta, and a very decent wine list. Staff are charming, too.
