With spectacular views of the original Bosphorus bridge and floodlit Ortaköy mosque, Banyan comes into its own on summer nights, and enjoys a far superior location to its sister in Nişantaşı. Bonsai trees scattered around the tables lend an exotic twist to the refined interior. Living up to the slogan 'Food for the Soul', all ingredients are organic and ethically sourced. The menu is a melange of Asian influences. Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese and Indian delicacies are all beautifully presented and prepared. This is fusion food at its best - good for the soul, but hard on the wallet.
