On a plane to Macau, an encounter between two runaways – Allan, a 19-year-old pianist escaping his family problems and John, a 28-year-old guitarist running away from the pain of a tumour growing inside him – leads to a life-changing event for the both of them. As the plane experiences turbulence, the two troubled individuals help each other overcome their fears and insecurities, tackling personal demons along the way.
