Shia Yih Yiing: The Weaver

A metaphorically understood process of fabric creation, 'The Weaver' represents the warped and weft of the cloth as Shia Yih Yiing weaves through her art. Her artworks are used as a medium to shares stories of motherhood and how she connects her domestic life with Malaysian art history and society today, with many of her works revolving around her children.
