Tiger Beer is crossing the culinary gulf this month with Tiger STREATS – the world’s first street food-meets-fine dining pop up restaurant event. The mash-up packs some great star power: Two Michelin-appraised chefs – Singapore’s Chef Hawker Chan (of Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice and Noodle fame) and Babe KL’s Chef Jeff Ramsey (former executive chef at the Michelin-starred Mandarin Oriental Tokyo hotel) – will collaborate on one signature dish as well as serve their own individual creations at MH Platinum Warehouse, Setapak on Dec 17.

Chef Jeff Ramsey

If American-Japanese chef Jeff Ramsey is bringing his take on progressive modern cuisine to the table, Chef Hawker Chan – child of farmers from Ipoh – will be showcasing his cooking skills that garnered him the first Michelin star ever to be awarded to a street food vendor. That’s not all – diners will be treated to a selection of local street food favourites, as well as special performances by Tiger Jam artists.

Having launched first in Sydney, followed by Auckland, New York and now KL, Tiger STREATS has sailed through parts of the world to bring renowned chefs to cook together. You can't buy tickets to this event, but you could win the exclusive passes through Tiger Beer’s Facebook page.
