Bangsar Book Club

This month the book club will be tackling the first book of Haruki Murakami’s latest opus, ‘1Q84’. The novel follows two central characters, Aomame and Tengo, as they go about their daily lives and find increasingly strange things happening around them. Aomame convinces herself that she has entered an alternate reality after climbing down an emergency escape staircase on the highway, and Tengo finds himself being drawn deeper and deeper into the strange world of would-be teenage novelist Fuka-Eri.
