PUSAKA Evenings at Publika: Tarian Asyik and Main Puteri of Kelantan

Gain culture points at PUSAKA Evenings, this time focusing on two Kelantanese heritage dances, the Tarian Asyik and Main Puteri. The dance will be performed by Jalinan Seni Tanah Merah with music by Pak Su Agil. Said to be one of Puteri Saadong’s favourite dances, the performance will be followed by a demonstration of the traditional healing ceremony Main Puteri, conducted by Tok ‘Teri Pak Omar. If you’d like to learn more about these old Kelantanese traditions, PUSAKA founder Eddin Khoo will be hosting a talk session before the performances.
