Alain Gsponer 2009 (DE) The film version of Martin Suter’s best-selling novel, ‘Lila Lila’ paints the life of David – a young and plain waiter secretly in love with Marie. To draw her interest, he gives her a novel manuscript to read and Marie passes it on to a publishing company. In truth, David has not written the novel but had found the copy in a rag shop. The real writer soon turns up and starts to blackmail the imposter.
