41st German-European Film Weekend: Dark Blue World

During the German invasion in Czechoslovakia, Czech pilots flee to England to join the Royal Air Force. Franta is a prisoner at a post-war camp, and meets Karel, a young pilot. Karel crash lands by a rural home where an English woman named Susan lives. Susan, whose husband is missing in action, spends one night with Karel, and he thinks he’s found the love of his life. The plot gets even more complicated when Susan falls for Franta.
