Monday Movies at Publika: El Benny

Based on the life of the famous Cuban musician Benny Moré, this film includes new versions of his songs performed by actors. El Benny follows the mambo king at the fictional peal of his career and his slow downfall. The film was Cuba's candidate for the Academy Awards.
