Non-halal restaurant Li Yen adds a traditional twist to their dim sum. Chef Tan has married a range of Chinese teas such as Pu Erh and Cha Wang with traditional ingredients. The special dim sums include chrysanthemum bean curd puff with shredded lotus, Longjing sesame sandwich with shrimp dumpling and the Pu Erh soup with siu mai – a dish cooked in superior broth packed with ingredients like pork, shrimp, water chestnut and scallop.
