Enter this pitch dark establishment and the first thing that comes to mind is a laser tag arena or an arcade centre, with the only light emanating from the 16 electronic dart machines on either side of the futuristic concept bar. In place of the traditional dartboard often found in British pubs is a social network darts game (dubbed ‘Dartslive 2’ from Japan) housed in a contraption that looks suspiciously like a ‘Dance Dance Revolution’ machine.
RM2 gets you three darts for eight rounds in the practice mode though there are plenty other game play options for more seasoned players. Drink prices are on the high side here (RM17++ for half a pint of Asahi), but drinking almost becomes an afterthought with the lure of a novel dart game in Malaysia’s first and only outlet thus far. Our advice? Grab one of the five private VIP areas with your mates and vent your frustrations on ‘Dartslive 2’ over a beer tower.
