Be lulled back into the nostalgic world of radio-friendly alternative rock from the late ’90s and early 2000s, when bands like 3 Doors Down and Nine Days were punching above their weight with karaoke staples ‘Kryptonite’ and ‘Absolutely (Story of a Girl)’ respectively. Fellow turn-of-the-millennium behemoths Vertical Horizon, ostensibly in a bid to relive their glory days, will make their (much belated) Malaysian debut this month. Matt Scannell and gang have six studio LPs under their belts, with 1999’s immensely popular third record ‘Everything You Want’ spawning a string of hit singles.
