After its last edition in February at KL Tower, Rising Music Festival is back by popular request. Expect no less than a vibrant mix of dance music, stage design, flashy lights, performances and get this – a laser show. Top that with cream of the crop DJs Yves V (pictured), Leon Bolier, Tristan Garner, Justin Prime, D-Wayne and Dominic Silver, and you’ll get a kicking start to June.
The focus of the festival is of course the music. The talents this time around are known for their polished work, and they are a good mishmash. Genres aside, you’ll be able to hear a stream of steady but brawny feet-movers throughout the night. It might not sound fair to simply typify the line-up, but we are confident that there will be no surprises or rubbish experimentation. We anticipate the night to have it all – roaring basslines and brisk synths for some much needed mid-year escapism. Jay Chooi
