KL’s newest DJ darlings – Phil K Lee and Viona – are cranking up a sterling new night at Vertigo. VOLT, as it is called, plays everything Progressive – from progressive house to progressive techno.
Phil K Lee is known for his uplifting progressive house and techno, in which he often incorporates his own mash-up projects and live acapella mixes. He first caught the nation’s attention when he won 2010’s Heineken Found @ Thirst competition. Last year he played in Speedzone and Future Sound System, warming up for Paul van Dyk, and in December, he opened the show for Tiesto at Heineken Thirst 2011.
Viona has a repertoire of playing alongside big names such as Sean Tyas, W&W, Aly & Fila, and Andy Moor. VOLT promises to be a highly charged, energetic night, and with these two DJs playing, we would expect nothing less.
