Cake Project

If you want to support local art practitioners, help out with the Cake Project event. Here's how the micro crowdfunding project by Toccato Studio works: a prize pot is placed in a corner of the studio for monetary contributions of any amount. Admission to the event is RM15 per person, and that money goes inside the prize pot which will be given to the winner at the end of the day. Said art practitioners then give a ten-minute presentation detailing why their project needs the backing of the audience, and if they garner enough votes, the prize pot is theirs to help realise their dream. There will also be performances and talks by past winners of the Cake Project who will share their progress. And yes, there will be tea and cake.
