Best known for her revolutionary studies on chimpanzees, Dr Jane Goodall will be in Malaysia for the first time. As founder of Jane Goodall Institute, the world-renowned primatologist, ethologist and environmentalist is widely recognised for her works in animal conservation and welfare issues – namely the Roots & Shoots program and Nonhuman Rights Project.  Over the past 60 years, Dr Goodall has been crowned with myriads of accolades including the French Legion of Honour, the Medal of Tanzania, and Japan’s prestigious Kyoto Prize. She was also appointed as United Nations Messenger of Peace and in 2002 and was named a Dame of the British Empire in 2003.
