Story Fest 2012: A Home Is Not A Fairytale

A reading session for kids and adults will be held in conjunction with Story Fest 2012. As homes in fairytales are a key feature (Cinderella, Hansel & Gretel etc), many children do not enjoy the privilege of having one. At this reading, the stories of refugee children, stateless children, street children and child labourers are discussed. Dina Zaman, Odie Abdul, Joanna Bessey and Woon King Chai will perform readings of 'Cats in the Rubbish' among other children's classics. Check out voc.org.my for more info.
