Courtyard by Marriott review Rate it

While Las Vegas's status as the world's most ridiculous resort grabs the headlines, it's worth stressing that the city is also the convention capital of the US, welcoming millions of business travellers each year alongside all the leisure traffic. This outpost of Marriott's Courtyard chain is tilted squarely at those here for work purposes, and particularly at those who've flown in to attend an event at the Las Vegas Convention Center right opposite the property. All rooms have work spaces and free high-speed internet access, and decor that won't offer any distractions from the job at hand. It's one of several such chain-tied business hotels within walking distance of the LVCC; others include the immediately adjacent Residence Inn (3225 Paradise Road, 1-702 796 9300, www.marriott.com) and a tidy, well-equipped branch of the popular Embassy Suites hotel group (3600 Paradise Road, 1-702 893 8000, www.embassysuites.com).
