Four Seasons review

The first boutique hotel to open on the Strip remains its most popular. It has its own private driveway, entrance, lobby, valet and crack concierge staff, as well as an award-winning spa, landscaped gardens surrounding a secluded pool, restaurants and lounges. The twist is that the 424 rooms and suites are located in the Mandalay Bay resort, though they're accessed by private elevators. Guests may use Mandalay Bay's facilities, as well as those within Thehotel at Mandalay Bay.

The guestrooms are spacious and luxurious, especially the large marble bathrooms with sunken jacuzzis and L'Occitane products. Extra points are garnered for superior service: complimentary cocktails greet guests upon arrival, and repeat guests have room keys waiting for them at valet, while families will find rooms child-proofed and stocked with age-appropriate amenities (nappies for babies, Playstations for older children). Joggers get chilled water and towels after exercising. Dining options include Charlie Palmer Steak and the popular Verandah Café, which features Italian-influenced American fare.
