Arizona Charlie's is a no-frills, 258-room bunkhouse for serious players who need a place to drop. The theme is the Yukon gold rush, though you won't notice: the interior design is little more than a floor, a ceiling and rows of machines. One effort to keep up with the local competition was the replacement of the Yukon Grille with a link from the Outback Steakhouse chain. But the surest bet at Charlie's is still the Sourdough Café, where the steak-and-eggs special will set you back just $2.99. There's also a buffet.The blackjack games here are decent, with typical low minimums, as is some of the video poker. You can also find $2 craps at times, but often with only 2x odds. There's a strong selection of slots for nickel and quarter players.
