A joint venture between The Donald and Phil Ruffin, the owner of next door's New Frontier, Trump's first Vegas property promises to be as posh as sister properties in New York and Florida. When Trump revealed his plans to build a condo-hotel tower here on The Apprentice, the condos were all reserved within three weeks. It was no surprise when, in a subsequent episode, he announced plans to build a second tower a little further down the line.
The 1,200-plus spacious condo guestrooms will feature floor-to-ceiling windows, spa tubs, plasma TVs and, of course, lots and lots of marble. The property is due to open in the first half of 2008; Jack Christie, VP of Sales and Marketing, promises that 'guests will have everything they need to live the Trump lifestyle in Las Vegas', including 24-hour concierge and security services, white-gloved doormen, and the finest in gourmet and casual dining.
