Chef Steven Kalt takes everyday Italian cuisine and infuses it with novel gourmet touches in this recently remodelled spot. The results will please diners in the market for something traditional or experimental. Try the cannelloni, made with sheep's milk ricotta, spinach and a sauce of butter, walnuts and aged pecorino romano. And the tomato and mozzarella appetiser - a modern spin on the classic caprese salad with chopped tomato tartare, basil and balsamic vinegar, beautifully arranged in the shape of a rose - is not to be missed.
