Time Out says

In a bid to write an accessible prequel to Shakespeare's 'King Lear', playwright EV Crowe came up with this piece for 13-to-16-year-olds, which attacks head-on the problem of society's distrust and demonisation of the young. The story is that of 14-year-old Grace, under interrogation for skipping school and under suspicion for a violent crime.
